Chicken Tinga Tacos
What’s your favorite taco filling? Carne asada? Carnitas? Birria??? I’ll bet once you make these Tinga de Pollo tacos, you’ll be hooked. This chicken is slow-cooked and shreds nice and tender. It’s perfect for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tostadas… you name it. Spicy and savory, there’s nothing aburrido about this recipe.
- 3lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 3 Tbsp It’s Taco SZN (link)
- 1 ½ Cups Salsa or Pico de Gallo
- 1 Tbsp HotBox Gourmet Hot Sauce (link)
Coat the bottom of a Crock Pot with avocado or canola oil. Coat both sides of chicken with It’s Taco SZN and place in the pot. Top with salsa and HotBox Gourmet Hot Sauce. Cook on low for six hours or on high for four hours. Shred with two forks and stir back into the juices. Bonus tip: fry until crispy in a frying pan before putting in tacos. Enjoy!
