"THAT GOOD RANCH"

"THAT GOOD RANCH"

"THAT GOOD RANCH"

That ranch from the bottle is trash. Sorry you had to find out this way. Loads of restaurants make a “good ranch” with packets of dehydrated mystery ingredients (also trash). You can, and should make that tasty good-good at home with a few simple ingredients. It’s a dip and a dressing, or a beverage and relaxing bath for the Midwesterners out there. I promise you’ll give the store-bought junk the side-eye it most certainly deserves once you have this in your fridge.

  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise (homemade if possible)
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream
  • ½ Cup Buttermilk (full fat if available)
  • ½ tsp Dried Parsley
  • ½ tsp Dried Dill
  • 1 tsp Granulated Garlic
  • ½ tsp Granulated Onion
  • 1 tsp HotBox Gourmet Hot Sauce (link)
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • ½ tsp Coarse Black Pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and refrigerate for a few hours (or overnight). That’s it! Keeps for about two weeks in the fridge if you’re not somehow licking the bowl clean before then.
